The 1dii sells for around $300-400 and Canon used to charge nearly that amount to replace the shutter. A similar thing happened to me when a mini drain pipe lens broke. Canon no longer supported it and the various shops wanted more money to fix the lens than it was worth. Good luck.
This is the genuine OEM Canon charger to recharge Ni-MH NP-E2 batteries used in my Camon Eos 1 Ds Mark II. Works perfectly. It is fairly bulky since the batteries are also large and heavy.
